Note From Kevin (Minister of Music)

It’s hard to believe that we are already halfway through 2019. Think back to January when we all made those “resolutions” for a new us or to somehow better ourselves. Have we followed through with those new ideas and plans?

The good thing is that if we haven’t been following along with our resolutions, that every day is a new day. Just like in the song “Great is Thy Faithfulness” we can have hope in remembering Lamentations 3:22-23 “Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness.”

Although we may not always be faithful to God or to the promises we make to ourselves or each other, we can always rest in the fact the He is ALWAYS faithful to his promises and to his people. Jeremiah 31:25 says “for I have satisfied the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” Many times we become weary and “burnt out” when we realize our own failures or promises that we have broken, but God is faithful. Rely on his faithfulness, morning by morning.
