Note From Kevin (Minister of Music)
I cannot believe that it is already October and students across the U.S. have gone back to school, including myself. I so enjoyed my summer off, but I’m excited to be continuing my studies at Milligan. Last year when I decided to quit my full-time job and go back to school it was one of the toughest decisions of my life. I worried about finances, my position here at Lynn Garden, fitting in, succeeding, and the list goes on and on. I knew after I was accepted, I had to put it in God’s hands and be fulling trusting in Him and His will. “Now may the God of peace who brought up our Lord Jesus from the dead, that great Shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant, make you complete in every good work to do His will, working in you what is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21.
Throughout my short journey at Milligan so far, He has given me the strength and wisdom that would far surpass what I would have expected. Put your trust in Him no matter what you are facing, and I promise you He will see you through it, and most likely in a larger than life way than you would have ever expected. “Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy — meditate on these things. The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:8-9.
