Facing Change With Faith
Change can be uncomfortable. It can bring uncertainty, fear, and questions about what comes next. But even when our circumstances change, God does not change.
“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.” — Hebrews 13:8
When Joshua faced a new and unfamiliar season, God reminded him:
“Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”— Joshua 1:9
God didn’t promise Joshua that the journey would be easy. He promised that He would be with him. That same promise is true for us. We may not understand every change, but we can trust the One who sees the whole picture.
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5
As we walk through this season together, let’s encourage one another, carry one another’s burdens, and remember that God can use change to accomplish His purpose.
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth.” — Isaiah 43:19
We may not know what the next chapter holds, but we know who holds our future. Let us move forward with faith instead of fear, trusting that God is still working, still faithful, and still with us. Change may be before us, but God is with us. And because He is with us, we can face what comes next with courage, faith, and hope.
