Dear Renae,
As you leave us for retirement, we want to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for your years of dedicated service to our church. Your kindness, faithfulness, and unwavering commitment have touched so many lives, and we are truly thankful for everything you’ve done.
The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13:
“We ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who work hard among you, who care for you in the Lord and who admonish you. Hold them in the highest regard in love because of their work.”
Your work has been an example of love and service, and you have made a lasting impact on our church family. Your faithfulness echoes the words of
Colossians 3:23, which remind us:
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.”
As you enter this new season of life, we pray that God continues to bless you richly, and that you experience peace, joy, and fulfillment. You have been a blessing to us, and we are confident that He will continue to guide you and surround you with His love.
Thank you for everything, and may Numbers 6:24-26 be a reminder of God’s ongoing care: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace.”
