Trunk N’ Treat

The weather forecast temperature at the time of Trunk N’ Treat on Saturday is 81 degrees.  Please bring plenty of water.

Trunk n’ Treat is our annual community outreach event near Halloween where we park cars in the church parking lot and give out candy from the trunks.  This will be the 15th consecutive year that we’ve had the event. The date and time of the event is Saturday, October 28 from 4 – 6 pm.  Our volunteers will park cars along the upper end of our parking lot.  Our parking lot will be marked with Entrance and Exit signs. The parking lot will be closed until set-up is completed at approximately 4 pm.

The entrance to the Trunk N’ Treat area will also be marked with an Entrance sign near the basketball goal. The Trick N’ Treaters will enter the area and walk towards the church to get the candy.

In case of rain, the event will be held in our education building.

Please keep in mind that small children will be walking in the parking lot and use extreme caution when parking your car and when leaving.

We Need Candy

Candy collection has started and there is a collection barrell located outside the church office. We would greatly appreciate any donations of bags of individually-wrapped candy.

We Need Volunteers

Lots of volunteers are needed for this event. If you don’t want to park a vehicle and give out candy, there are other jobs where you help. We cannot have too many volunteers and your help will make a difference. There is a sign-up sheet posted outside the church office that lists all of the areas where volunteers are needed.

Trunk N’ Treat is a fun event and we encourage our volunteers that give out candy to decorate their vehicles and themselves. There will be two new competitions for our volunteers this year.
  • Best Decorated Vehicle (1st and 2nd)
  • Best Volunteer Costume (1st and 2nd)
There will be a drop box for each competition and each volunteer will be asked to vote.
