The youth ministry of Lynn Garden Baptist Church exists to partner with parents in teaching and showing students how to live a godly life. We accomplish this by coming together weekly to study God’s Word, traveling to various events, providing outreach activities at the church, and engaging the students themselves in service. 

Being part of a good youth group is one of the most satisfying and enjoyable things for a young person to do! And it all happens within a safe and positive environment where students can benefit from peer and mentor relationships, biblical teaching, and people who genuinely care about their lives. What better place for teens to spend their time?

What are our goals in ministry?

  • To Be faithful to The Lord Jesus Christ and His Leading in all Areas of Student Ministry.
  • To Introduce Students to the Saving Grace of Jesus Christ
  • To Disciple Students in Their Walk and Relationship with Christ
  • To Provide a Safe Space for Students to Be Vulnerable and Ask Questions
  • To Fellowship Together as a Christ-Centered Community of Believers
 

 

Current Meeting Plan

Sunday Mornings

  • 9:45 – Sunday School in The Bible Study Room on The 3rd Floor
  • 11:00 – Morning Worship in The Sanctuary
Sunday Evenings
  • Summer Sunday Nights

Wednesday Evenings

Student Worship / Rootz

 
ROOTZ is the ministry to middle and high school students at Lynn Garden Baptist Church. We have worship, games, a brief message, small groups, and of course FOOD! Please plan to join us for Rootz each Sunday.

The Mission of ROOTZ is to “Grow God’s Garden Together” to:

  • Glorify God through Worship of Jesus Christ
  • Grow in a Personal Relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Give of Time and Resources to the Service of Jesus Christ
  • Go to the Nations to Proclaim the Message of Jesus Christ

Upcoming Events

Yard Sale Fundraiser

We are hosting a Yard Sale as a fundraiser for FUGE on Saturday, June 13th from 8:00-12:00!

We will be selling “spaces” in the parking lot in exchange for a donation toward FUGE Camp. Folks will be able to set up and sell their goods, and we will advertise the yard sale on social media to get folks to come shop!

Please plan to come help if you can! As you know, FUGE costs almost $400 per participant, but we only ask each student to pay $100 of that. The rest comes out of our annual youth budget, fundraising, and donations!

Student-Led Worship Services

Our youth sometimes lead the worship services and they do a great job!  On Youth Sunday the youth lead the worship service, so the old way of doing things is gone and the new way has begun. The music is new and there is a different energy in the room. Come and watch how our Youth worship our Lord!
